Your files stay on your Mac.

The app

InOrder processes files on your Mac and does not upload them. Reading a document's text, OCR, the on-device model (Apple Intelligence) and image conversion all run locally. Your workflows, file names, file contents and History stay on your Mac.

The app uses the network for:

• Updates: checking for and downloading new versions of the app.
• Licence activation (planned): sending your purchase key and a hash of your machine id. It never needs document contents or file names.

There is no account, no cloud sync and no upload step.
